Services for Churches
Creating a stewardship culture is one of our most important mission objectives! “Sower: Seeds of Faith and Finance” and Personal Finance Workshops have proved popular and helpful for local churches and their members.
Planned Giving Seminars
We will come to you and discuss ways people can give from accumulated assets. These seminars serve as an educational tool for local congregations and church members to come to understand how ministry can work and how it can continue to work in the community.
We will help your leadership set appropriate policies and promote gifts to your fund.
Our experienced staff is ready to lead your congregation in raising needed money for expansion, renovation or other projects.
Personal Finance Seminars
We conduct seminars on finance strategies and taxes for clergy, Staff Relations Committees and individuals.
Who We Serve
"We were extremely pleased with the UMFF’s assistance [in our capital campaign]. They were professional, knowledgeable and reliable. We exceeded all our fundraising goals by substantial margins. Any group contemplating a large capital campaign should contact the UMFF early in the process and you will definitely be pleased with the end results. Highly recommended."
Chair, Lansing United Methodist Church Building Committee and Member, Lansing UMC Capital Campaign Steering Committee
The United Methodist Frontier Foundation actively supports and sustains local churches and the annual conference by providing financial tools, stewardship strategies and investment management services. Our reach is broad - we service churches large and small throughout the New York and Upper New York Annual Conferences - but our service is focused on the unique circumstances of each of our clients. We provide financial acumen from a distinctly United Methodist perspective, such as investment products screened to be socially responsible, as defined by The Book of Discipline, stewardship services that have a basis in scripture, and personal attention to setting distributions and meeting capital needs.
We offer professional investment management by John G. Ullman & Associates, an SEC-registered firm, and fund accounting through our FIS Charlotte investment accounting system. Our investment management fees are reinvested to provide financial education and services to churches, pastors, annual conferences and religious institutions.
