About Us

We are here to serve.

The United Methodist Frontier Foundation embraces the United Methodist Bishops' Call to Action and aims to increase the capacity of United Methodist congregations, to fulfill their mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world through vital congregations with a strong financial base.

Fund Management
Ministry Partners can be assured investments conform to the Book of Discipline of The United Methodist Church with socially responsible investing, competitive returns, and reasonable fees. Investors have a choice between four funds ranging from conservative with low risk and lower returns, to aggressive with high returns but higher risk, along with easy access to information via our website.

Planned Giving for Congregations and Individuals
Endowment building resources and training is available to each congregation. For individuals, Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Trusts and Donor-Advised Funds are available.

Stewardship Training and Services
With the understanding that God has provided all of us with the gifts of our talents and skills, we are dedicated to helping all churches realize their stewardship or caretaker responsibilities of those gifts. We assist in capital campaigns, annual commitment campaigns, stewardship workshops, and financial planning seminars for laity, clergy and those in the ordination process.

Our mission
To encourage, empower and support stewardship in churches and individuals

throughout New York and neighboring states.

Our vision
To provide the means for United Methodists to strengthen the mission and ministry of local congregations, by educating, empowering and providing the tools for the support and funding of ministries of the church; by acting as the trustee on behalf of UM Churches for building funds, mission endowments, scholarship awards, memorial funds, annuities, etc.; by providing competent leadership and resources for stewardship education for annual commitment programs, capital campaigns, endowment building and planned giving; and by educating ministers and trustees about personal and church finances so they will personally and institutionally be able to pursue their mission.
