Creating a foundation for growth.

Message from Ellen Knudsen:
The United Methodist Frontier Foundation and the United Methodist Foundation of New England have joined together to form **the United Methodist Foundation of the Northeast**. For more than fifty years, our two foundations have faithfully served churches across the New York, Upper New York, and New England Conferences, helping congregations and individuals steward long‑term gifts and resource ministry. We are now building on that shared history to offer a stronger, more connected foundation ministry across the region.
This merger brings **a new name with the same mission**. The same trusted team of board and staff members continues to provide competitive investment returns, support for mission and ministry, and guidance in generosity and planned giving. By becoming one organization, we are able to keep more investment management fees within the church to be reinvested into ministry, camps, and conference initiatives—expanding services to New York while sustaining robust support in New England.
Throughout this process churches and donors can expect continuity of service and a growing range of resources. The combined foundation offers **new friends, new expertise, and new capacity** to help congregations unlock missional possibilities while managing their financial resources. We invite you to stay connected with us through this transition and to explore how the United Methodist Foundation of the Northeast can partner with you in faithful stewardship and mission!
